And the winner is……..Roxy 2010 Summer Session has been announced!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the show on Thursday. What a night! I’m happy to let you know that I have just won the 2010 Roxy Summer Session. I accepted the $5000.00 check last night in the club! Up next will be an appearance on the 99.3 the Fox, as well as an opening slot at The Roxy for 160th Jack Daniels Birthday Party with a surprise artist on September 30th! I’ll update as more details become available. Thanks again to everyone who came out and sang and danced!

Peak Performance Project Challenge # 1

Next week is the 2nd Annual Summer Sessions competition hosted by The Roxy from August 23rd to 27th. I’ll be playing as one of the top 10 finalists on Thursday, August 26th. The Summer Sessions were a huge success last year and drew over 2000 attendees to the five shows. I’m currently scheduled to hit the stage at 8:30. Come on down and check out some great bands showcase their songs in an intimate acoustic environment.

Vancouver Chinatown Festival

Today I’m going to hit the stage at the Vancouver Chinatown Festival between 1 and 2 this afternoon. I’m looking forward to playing a stripped down acoustic set in preparation for next weeks Summer Sessions at The Roxy!

Mixes

Just finishing off the mixes for Mind Control and More Than You Ever Did Know. I’m looking forward to having them mastered and the out this summer! Both tracks are piano based with a little twinge of R&B flavoring.

Mind Control

So today I travelled over to beautiful Gibsons BC, it’s nestled on the Sunshine Coast, and began recording vocals and back ups for Mind Control, and More than you ever did know. Both tracks are shaping up nicely and I should have one of them finished by early next week.
